Congratulations toWest Wight Sports & Community Centre, who as home to the West Wight Coronavirus Help Hub, enjoyed a surprise visit from Prince Edward this week.
A fabulous morning for everyone involved.
Great to see the work of the centre and its staff led by the inspirational Clare Griffin, the help hub team, Our Place Community Café, Churches Together, Men in Sheds and hundreds of volunteers being acknowledged at the highest levels for the work done before, during and after lockdown.
When things got tough the West Wight yet again excelled itself in coming together as a true community.
