We’ve received the following update from the Rights of Way Team re the temporary closure of public footpath F13 (Brambles Chine).

Please be aware that we will be blockading off the slipway at Brambles Chine, the beach access steps have already been washed away, so once the barriers go up (tomorrow) there will not be any beach access from Brambles Chine via Footpath F13.  Sadly the slipway is structurally very unsound and is not safe for the public to walk over.

As the slipway at Brambles Chine will be closed and there is no beach access steps, this means there will not be a public through route.  The nearest access off the beach will be at Colwell.
