Following on from the mystery surrounding the design of our Parish Seal/Logo one of our local residents thought that perhaps this could be an opportunity for an update.
The original logo – presented to the Parish by Hallam Tennyson in 1894. We have not been able to find out the significance of the small boat in the top corner.
The updated version is crisp and fresh but stays true to the original design. One change makes a play on the fact that the boats meaning remains a mystery.
Changes to the design are, of course, likely to be the cause of some debate and a decision on any changes remains ongoing. However, if you have any thoughts on the proposed changes please do let us know.
