We currently have a vacancy for a Parish Councillor in our South Ward.  Vacancy notice January 2023_

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT: –

 

  1. A vacancy has occurred in the South Ward of the Parish of Freshwater for a Councillor to serve on the  Parish Council.

 

  1. If ten local government electors for the Freshwater South Ward of the Parish of Freshwater give notice in writing on or before the 7th  February 2023 to:

 

Proper Officer

Isle of Wight Council

County Hall

Newport

Isle of Wight

PO30 1UD

 

that they wish an election to be held to fill the vacancy, then a by-election will be held.

  1. If notice is not given as mentioned in (2) above, the Freshwater Parish Council will proceed to fill the before-mentioned vacancy by co-option.
