It’s always with a heavy heart when we have to post about vandalism, but here we go.
There have been a number of incidents this week – many thanks to WWY Football team for reporting the damage pictured below, which took place on Tuesday evening when 2 ‘older teens’ were seen kicking and ultimately destroying the skate park lighting. (Descriptions of the two people in question have been passed to the police).
There was also damage to the youth shelter.
Additionally the sport centre notice board has been smashed, the light for the FYT bus shelter broken and the glass left around the entrance to Brookside Health Centre and signs around Moa Place car park spoilt with graffiti.
