Today, Freshwater Parish Council visited Colwell Bay to meet with our contractors, BW Moorings, for a review of the swim buoy layout and swimmer safety in the bay.
As part of our ongoing efforts to keep Colwell Bay safe and enjoyable for all, we discussed the current positioning of the swim buoys and plans for their future maintenance. During the visit, it was noted that one of the buoys near the slipway had shifted position. BW Moorings have confirmed they will re-site the buoy as soon as possible to ensure clear and consistent swim zones remain in place.
We’re committed to working closely with our contractors to maintain safety at the bay for swimmers, boat users, and visitors alike.
