Dive into a night of Surf & Skate movies & Live Music.

The Isle of Wight’s surf and skate enthusiasts are in for a treat as the community comes together for a one-of-a-kind “Movie & Music Night” in aid of the Freshwater Skatepark. The event to be held on Friday, 22nd March, promises a swell of excitement from 6 pm until midnight at the Memorial Hall, Freshwater.

Attendees will catch the wave with a special screening of the surf movie ‘Savage Waters,’ currently making a splash in cinemas. The film begins at 7:30 pm after a kickoff with skate movies from Wight Trash, setting the stage for an evening that celebrates the spirit of surf culture.

The night’s crescendo hits with live performances headlined by Freshwater’s own skate sensation, Martha Eggleton, and the funky, rock vibes of Hashtag, the Isle of Wight’s cherished trio band known for their electrifying indie music.

But the action isn’t confined to the silver screen and stage. Attendees can also participate in a raffle brimming with spectacular prizes from local sponsors such as Canopy, Wight Trash, Surf Ears and Teemill.

Tickets for this amazing event are only £5 and can be purchased in advance online. Limited numbers will be available on the door on a first-come first-served basis.

In a show of community and solidarity, the evening extends beyond the hall with an online auction featuring irresistible items. Family Bestival tickets, a sauna session, surf lessons, or exclusive jewellery and clothing from Bird + Wolf.
