UPDATE FROM SOUTHERN WATER – LET US KNOW IF YOU WANT TO BE ADDED TO THE LIST

We are pleased to inform you that plans are now progressing for the re-visit scheme for water butt installations in your area.

Our engineers will be operating in the West Wight area for approximately one week starting Monday, 21st July. We would appreciate your support in sharing this information with residents via social media or other communication platforms.

We aim to work from the list of properties we hope to receive from you by Thursday, 17th July. Thank you to those who have already provided this information. Where contact telephone numbers have been supplied, our engineers will attempt to arrange access directly with residents if they are not at home during our initial visit.

To ensure fair access, we have scheduled four weekend days during the six-week period for re-visits to properties where access was not initially possible.
If our engineers are approached by residents while in the area, we are happy to carry out installations on the spot, provided the property meets the necessary criteria.

Please note: this will be the final opportunity for residents in this area to receive a slow-drain water butt. Once this six-week scheme concludes, we will not be returning for further installations.

Thank you once again for your continued support in promoting this scheme. Your efforts are instrumental in helping us reduce the flow of rainfall into the sewer network and prevent the use of storm overflows.
